I made a fun little Halloween workout for our masters practice today. A good fun way to spice things up a bit, but probably let the lifeguards know if you are going to do a dead man’s float:
I saw a “Twelve Sets of Christmas” and modified it for our Christmas Eve masters practice. Seems like it was well received and I did hear a couple people sing it, haha. The past couple years I’ve done a Christmas Tree thing, but it was time for a change.
This what I swam on Wednesday morning. I decided halfway through Set 3 that I probably should work on breath control off my turns. My breathing wasn’t pretty! That’s one reason I added in the freestyle, flip turn, fly set.
I also added the dryland I do after I swim.
Here’s a freestyle workout that I found challenging, but enjoyed swimming.
I’ve signed up to do Yoga with Adriene’s 30 days of yoga – to help me get 2018 started right.
It begins just after the new year, but you can start it at any time after that. I’ve done something similar in the past, and I feel like this is a great compliment to pool training and the other dry land that I do.
